Dr. Marissa Drummond brings warmth, dedication, and a true love for animals to our veterinary team, she is passionate about delivering high quality care to pets of all shapes and sizes.
A proud University of Florida alum (Go Gators!), she earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University in 2017. Her diverse training and genuine empathy help make every visit to the clinic a positive experience, for both pets and their families.
At home, Dr. Drummond’s love for animals continues with her adventurous Jack Russell Terrier puppy, Darcy, a bearded dragon named Gina, and a blue tongue skink named Joanna. When she’s not in the clinic, you might find her paddle boarding, running, tending to her ever-growing collection of house plants, or enjoying time at Dog Bar with Darcy by her side.
Dr. Drummond is thrilled to be part of the Plummer Pet Hospital community and looks forward to building lasting relationships with the families and pets she serves.
